This hotel has a lot of history, it first opened in 1968 largely for use by the personnel stationed at the American Air Force Base in Udon Thani.
Whilst the hotel has been modernised it retains something of an old world charm to it. It is an independently run hotel with 268 rooms and extensive catering facilities and it is regularly used for weddings and large business conferences. The rooms are nicely furnished with the usual 4 star facilities such as satellite TV and free WiFi.
