Thailand Train timetables
- View: Southern Line Timetable
Bangkok to Malaysia via Hua Hin, Cha Am, Chumphon (for ferries to Koh Tao), Surat Thani (for ferries to Koh Samui and Koh Phangan), Hat Yai and Sungai Kolok on the border with Malaysia.
- View: Northern Line Timetable
Bangkok to Chiang Mai via Ayutthaya, Lop Buri, Phitsanulok (for Sukhothai) and Den Chai (for Phrae). The Northern Line is one of the most scenic routes on Thailand’s railway network.
This line has two branches. One branch goes to Nong Khai via Khon Kaen and Udon Thani. The other branch goes to Ubon Ratchathani via Pak Chong, Nakhon Ratchasima and Surin. This is the train line which goes to the Laos border.
- View: Eastern Line Timetable
This line also has two branches. One branch head East and South to Pattaya and then onto the coast. The other branch goes to Aranyaprathet, via Sa Kaeo. This is the train line to the Cambodia border.
This is line goes to Nam Tok via Kanchanaburi. It is as much of a tourist attraction as transport option, with people taking trains on the line to visit the Bridge Over the River Kwai and the great scenery on the way up to Nam Tok.
