Night boats are converted fishing boats with bunk beds inside a cabin. We don’t recommend the night boat for families with young children or travellers looking for a bit more comfort. The cabin can be hot, noisy and uncomfortable. Few travellers get a good night’s sleep, particularly if the sea is rough. The various night piers are located on the Tha Thahap river about 10 km by road from Chumphon Railway.
