Places to Visit in Prachuap Khiri Khan
Prachuap Khiri Khan has a notably pretty railway station, and a pier with a much photographed blue and white lighthouse, however, the main tourist attraction in the town is Wat Thammikaram Worawihan. Wat Thammikaram Worawihan is a large temple which encompasses a hill with a temple at the top. This hill top temple is often referred to as the Monkey Temple because of the hundreds of wild macaque monkeys which live on the hill and roam freely around the temple and the stairs leading up to it. There are superb views in all four direction from the hill top temple which we advise enjoying early in the morning before the sun becomes too intense.
