About Travel to Trang

Trang is a pleasant laid back town in the far South of Thailand with around 60,000 permanent residents. Trang town itself is notable for three things: a wide range of old buildings in the town centre, its food, and its distinctive yellow coloured early 20th Century Christian church. The liveliest part of the city is in the area close to the railway station and if you plan to stay overnight in Trang there are several good hotels used to catering to foreign visitors within easy walking distance of the railway station.

You can travel direct from Trang Railway Station to all 4 of these popular islands if you book your connection in advance. The premier transport operator on these routes is King Travel. The first stage of the journey with King Travel to either Koh Ngai.
