About Travel from Udon Thani to Don Mueang Airport


There are two ways to travel overland by public transport from Udon Thani to Don Mueang Airport: bus and train. The highlight of the journey is the section of railway track that runs alongside and over the Pa Sak Jolasid Dam Reservoir. The Pa Sak Jolasid Dam Reservoir is a 5 km long man made lake which has become a tourist attraction its own right. Sections of the railway track are suspended above just a few metres above the water by concrete pillars providing train passengers with excellent views across the reservoir.
