About Travel from Ratchaprapha Dam to Bangkok
Most visitors to Khao Sok National Park, particularly those staying at one of the floating bungalow resorts on Cheow Lan Lake, will depart from the National Park via the Ratchaprapha Dam Pier. Ratchaprapha Dam Pier is a long distance from the nearest town with a bus station and it is also a long way from any major roads where you might flag down a bus or a minivan. For this reason to travel onward from Ratchaprapha Dam your only options are to take a taxi or book a minivan service. These services depart from very near to the actual pier (120 metres walking distance) from a small car park on the approach road to the pier itself.
